UK UNIT STILLS PHOTOGRAPHER

I am a professional unit stills photographer based in Kent in South-East England. Pre-covid, I was in-front of the camera in student films and shorts, and decided to combine her profession as a freelance photographer with my love of film and ended up behind the camera instead.

I have worked on several student and short films, working seamlessly with the crew with my Canon R6’s. I love working with passionate DOP’s and crew members to work cohesively on set and have a strong understanding of crew life and how to manoeuvre on set (like a ninja) having learnt the art of discretion from being a wedding photographer.

As as well unit stills, I specialise in BTS (behind the scenes) in photography and videography. I am also a graphic designer and have designed several film posters, some mostly using my photography in the design.

As a master of visual storytelling, the unit stills photographer skillfully documents behind-the-scenes action, preserving the essence and atmosphere of a production in captivating images.

Unit stills photographers possess a keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting, ensuring each photograph encapsulates the essence of the scene and resonates with audiences. Their images not only serve as invaluable promotional material but also contribute to the historical documentation of the project.

Employing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, these photographers adeptly navigate diverse shooting environments, from dimly lit sound stages to expansive outdoor sets, to produce stunning imagery. Their expertise extends to both digital and traditional film photography, allowing for versatile and high-quality output.

Furthermore, unit stills photographers collaborate closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to align their visual narrative with the project's branding and promotional strategies.
